These two Gold Award, Five Star holiday cottages offer luxury accommodation for visitors to the Lake District. They are situated on the fringe of Keswick and only a short, level walk to the centre of this lovely market town. Sitting on the shore of Derwentwater, Keswick is surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery and the view across the Lake was described by John Ruskin as one of the finest in Europe.

Our cottages

The cottages are suitable for couples or families looking to enjoy a luxury holiday, or to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday or a honeymoon. Both cottages are situated next to each other and so they are suitable for two families to enjoy, sleeping up to a maximum of 10. Situated next to the river Greta on a short private road, only yards from open countryside and a 5 minute walk into Keswick town centre and all it's amenities. With such an ideal location, you may not have to use your car all week.

Located in the northern Lake District, Keswick is the ideal base for any visit to the area and offers a wealth of attractions and activities for all visitors. Keswick boasts an internationally renowned theatre which stages productions and events all year round, the local cinema offers a wide variety of films for all tastes. A trip on the Keswick Launch on Derwent water or perhaps a visit to the Pencil Museum, Honister Slate Mine or Whinlatter Forest. Keswick boasts a number of great places to eat out, only a short walk away from our cottages. Of course there are a huge number of walks for all abilities starting right from the doorstep. For those looking for more adventurous activities, Keswick offers low level walks and rambling, mountain walking, sailing, canoeing, and mountain biking.
